Artist Question and Answer

What drives you to create art?

I really just want to do something bigger than myself to leave behind. Once life expires there is nothing left for others to know you.

Why do you prefer Abstract art over Realism?

Instead of trying to create something mirror image that you can take a picture of. I made Picasso like pictures. I didn’t want to be like everyone else. The more different I was the more lasting the impression.

When did you first realize you wanted to be an artist?

When I was eight, I drew a duck scene and my teacher entered it. From then on, no matter how poor my mom would always get pencils, markers, anything to create artwork. My grandmother says my arts weird, even though she was raised in the time period of Picasso.”

Who were some artist that inspired you?

As an artist my greatest influences are Picasso, Dali, and Van Gogh. The reason I liked Dali is that he was a multi-faceted with his art. He had movies, pictures, and sculptures.”

What are your goals for your future artwork collections?

For me it is about people having access to my art. This is a reason behind the t-shirts and hoodies. They are like walking billboards for my art. My goal is simply to just share my art with as many people as possible.
